Q. What if I have a problem or question about my project, account or website?
A: First, you should ask your programmer any questions and discuss any problems with him/her. If they cannot help you, or you are not satisfied in any way, then you contact Ian Patel Thompson (via phone or email) and he will take care of you.

Q. If I get you to design some software for me, who owns the rights?
A: The rights and ownership on all the source codes for all software or applications that are developed by EcotechCRM & Design will be transferred to the client upon completion of the project. Therefore, you (the client) will own the rights.
Q. How much do you charge for your services?
A: We have different rates depending on which tasks you need done. Obviously, some tasks are simpler and can be done by someone with lower qualifications then other tasks – therefore, there is no need to pay the higher price for all tasks. So, based on your needs, here is our basic breakdown of rates (click on each one for a detailed description of what's included in each):
Customer Response Management (CRM) & Shopping Cart set-up and programming & ongoing changes, maintenance, etc. - $29/hour
Ongoing Website Programming, Updates & Tweaking (i.e. your webmaster) - $39/hour
Original or Project-based Website & Graphic Design - $49/hour
Marketing Strategy & Consulting – Price varies.
A: Check around and you'll see that our prices are pretty heavily discounted already!
However, we do offer the first hour of work for free to new clients – this way, there's no risk to you and you get to see exactly how we work, and the quality of our work, at no charge.
A: Payment schedules differ depending on whether you are contracting us for a one-time project, or for ongoing work:
Project-Based – you will receive a quote at the beginning of the project, so you know how much the total project will cost – no surprises! Payment is split the following way:
50% due half-way through the project
Balance due upon completion of project
Ongoing
Invoiced at first $100
Thereafter invoiced every $250
After 6 months or so of regular payment, client can request to move to monthly invoicing, if desired.
A: Invoices will be issued to you via our Client Login page – we'll email you and let you know when you have a new invoice due. You then pay the invoice into our PayPal account – payment via PayPal can be made using Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover.

Q. Why are your rates so much lower than other professional design and programming companies?
A: We can charge you substantially less because all of our programmers, designers, etc. live and work in India. Nearly everyone in India speaks, reads and writes English (since it was formerly ruled by the British). However, since the cost of living is so much lower in India, so are the salaries.
Rest assured, you are not paying anyone "sweatshop wages" here. The staff at EcotechCRM & Design are part of the middle-class in Pune, India and they feel they are well-compensated for their efforts.
In fact, this is one of the wonderful things about the Internet: It enables people in second and third world countries to derive income from the affluent West and attain a standard of living that would be very difficult if they depended upon their local economies – so you are actually helping to raise the standard of living and benefit the people of India.
As well, India's education system is also modeled on the British system, and Indians place a high value on education. Their scientists and computer programmers, engineers, etc. are often headhunted by companies in the West and much of Silicon Valley is staffed by Indian programmers. So again, you can rest assured that our programmers will provide you with top-notch work and they are fully fluent in even the most cutting-edge technology.
